Find a Way OR Find an Excuse

This week I had a coaching call with a mom, who's in a place where she really wants to feel more like herself again and wants to get back into fitness. She's got 2 young kids, and her situation is really challenging. She has no help during the day, the kiddos wake at ungodly hours (5:15am ugh!), and at the end of the day she is EXHAUSTED.

AND

She knew that if she didn't MAKE them time to fit in fitness, she would continue being a slave to circumstance and continue feeling lethargic, unfit, and not herself.

So despite all the challenges, we talked about the most likely times she could commit to movement. And while they are certainly not ideal, they are the best she has: after the kiddos are asleep.

This mom had to face the fact that unless she was willing to make this a priority, despite how she felt in the moment, then no one would do it for her. And she IS committed to feeling better. And so the journey begins again for her..

Look, I know it's not easy to carve out time to move, to meal prep, to take care of yourself as a mom.

But I also know that if you do, it's SO worth it. On the other side of that discomfort is better energy, a stronger body, a more confident woman who has energy to give to others.

It's simple, but it's not easy.

But you CAN do this!

And if you need a little more of a pep talk to jolt you into action, check out this video:

You got this, babe!
